A few details make the day easier.

Clear expectations
Booking and trip policies.
These policies reserve a guide and boat for your group while leaving room to make responsible decisions when conditions change.
Deposit, payment and group size
A $200 deposit per boat is required to reserve a date. We email a secure invoice for the remaining balance three days before your trip, or after booking for trips booked within three days. The balance is due on or before the trip date. Published rates include up to two anglers; a third angler may be added for $150. Guide gratuity is not included.
Guide gratuities
Gratuities are not included in your trip price. If you’d like to thank your guide, $100–$120 per boat is a common gratuity. Tips are always appreciated, never expected.
Guest cancellations and rescheduling
Please call (479) 366-9696 to cancel or request a date change as early as possible. Rescheduling is handled by phone and is subject to guide availability.
For new bookings made after this updated policy is published, the following terms apply when you cancel your guided trip. Existing bookings remain subject to the cancellation terms agreed to when they were reserved.
- 30 days or more before the trip: Full refund.
- 4–29 days before the trip: Credit only, usable one time within 12 months of the original reservation date.
- Within 3 days of the trip: The full trip price is owed, with no refund or credit.
The 12-month credit period starts on the date the original reservation was made, not the trip date, and does not end at the close of the calendar year.
Weather and river conditions
Typical rain, heat, cold and changing water generation do not automatically cancel a trip. To provide the safest and best available experience, your guide may:
- Change riverswhen another tailwater offers safer or more suitable conditions.
- Adjust timing or accessby changing the start time, meeting point or launch location.
- Adapt the fishing planby modifying the section, technique, rigging or pace of the day.
If Arkansas On The Fly cancels before launch because conditions are unsafe, you may move the trip to another available date or receive a refund of payments made. Travel and lodging costs are not covered, so travel insurance is worth considering.
Licenses, regulations and fish care
Guests must carry the licenses and permits required by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and follow current regulations. Guided trips are catch-and-release. We use careful handling practices and return fish to the water promptly. Fishing results vary by season, conditions and angler experience, so a particular species, number or size of fish cannot be guaranteed.
Safety, minors and conduct
Guests must follow the guide's safety instructions and use personal flotation devices when directed. Please share relevant mobility, medical or dietary needs before the trip so we can plan appropriately. A parent or legal guardian must complete any required waiver for a minor. Glass containers and unsafe or disruptive behavior are not permitted; service may be refused when impairment or conduct creates a safety risk.
Arrival and trip length
Please arrive at the confirmed meeting point on time and ready to fish. Late arrival may shorten the time on the water and does not change the trip price. Trip lengths are approximate and may vary slightly with access, conditions and safe daylight.
