Owner & Guide
Brad Sperry
Born outside Memphis and raised in a Marine Corps family, Brad landed in Northwest Arkansas in 1991. He started fly fishing at age 11, sparking a passion that stayed with him through a career in television and transportation. With encouragement from his wife, family, and friends, he made the leap from corporate life to start Arkansas On The Fly in 2017.
For Brad, guiding is as much about the people as the fishing. Many returning guests have become friends, and some feel like family. He lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife, their three daughters, and more four-legged friends than he probably ought to admit.
Meet your guide
Kyle Bogard
An Arkansas native raised in Stuttgart, Kyle grew up working on his family's rice farm and around its duck-hunting guide service. He discovered fly fishing at age 12 and began guiding waterfowl at 14. Some of his favorite early memories are of wading and fly fishing with his grandfather on the Little Red River.
Kyle's experience includes fly-fishing and whitewater guiding in Arkansas, Colorado and California. He brings a lifelong connection to the outdoors and a love of teaching to his time on the river. Helping someone learn to fly fish—and discover what the river can offer—is his favorite part of guiding.

Paul Brown
Originally from the Kansas City area, Paul grew up bass fishing and competing in pro-am tournaments across the Midwest. His interest in fish and their habitat led him to study Fisheries and Wildlife Biology at Kansas State University.
After college, Paul spent nine years guiding at Alaska Rainbow Lodge in Bristol Bay, Alaska. During the off-season, he worked as a commercial fly tier, specializing in large streamers.
Years of returning to fish the White and Norfork rivers eventually convinced Paul to make these waters his full-time home. When he isn't guiding, he enjoys spending time on the river with his wife and son.

Logan Huff
Raised in West Plains, Missouri, Logan considers the White and Norfork rivers his home waters. His late father introduced him to fly fishing at an early age, passing along a love of the sport that has stayed with him ever since.
After college, Logan spent seven years teaching special education at the junior high and high school levels. Weekends and summers working in a local fly shop eventually led him to guiding and working in the shop full time.
Today, Logan brings that teaching experience to the river, helping anglers learn to fly fish and pursue the brown trout these waters are known for. Away from guiding, he still enjoys being on the water with his family.

Meet your guide
Missy Bogard
Born and raised in Hot Springs, Missy grew up exploring the hills and waterways of the Ouachita Mountains. Her lifelong love of Arkansas’s outdoors eventually led her to fly fishing and guiding.
Her experience managing a resort and a local fly shop taught her that a memorable trip starts with taking care of people. She brings that same thoughtful approach to the river, helping guests feel welcome, prepared, and comfortable. From choosing the right fly to making their first casts.
Missy enjoys sharing her knowledge, building anglers’ confidence, and creating an experience that’s as rewarding as the fishing itself.
Away from guiding, her creativity takes shape in stained glass. Through Handmade in Cotter, she creates beautiful artwork inspired by trout and the wildlife found along the river. A reflection of her connection to the waters she calls home.

Cody Morden
Cody Morden grew up in Texas, fishing local ponds and creeks for bass and traveling in search of trout. He moved to Fayetteville to study business management at the University of Arkansas, where his love of the outdoors found a home in the Ozarks. During college, he spent his spare days on the White River, learning its seasons, hatches, and changing conditions. Today, Cody shares that knowledge with anglers of all experience levels, helping them learn the river and enjoy their time on the water.
